• 7.5 komi
• 50 mn Fischer time + 15s per additional move

Tournaments rules & prizes

The TIGGRE – Ellie Cup tournament will be played in 4 rounds.

The Ellie Cup will include the 16 best players registered in the Tiggre.
These players commit to participating in all rounds.
The Ellie Cup will be played in a single-elimination bracket format. The draw will follow a “split and fold” system.
Players losing in rounds 1 or 2 of the Ellie Cup will join the Tiggre tournament.
Players winning the first 2 rounds of the Ellie Cup will qualify for the semi-finals and will compete for places 1 to 4 on Sunday.

The Tiggre will use a MacMahon system, with games at handicap-1, following a “split and slip” method,. The MacMahon floor will be set at 20 kyu and the MacMahon bar will be set at 2 dan.
The organizers reserve the right to adjust the level of the MacMahon bar based on the number of players in the top group.

A total of €4,200 in prizes will be awarded to the top 8 players:

• 1st place: €1,500
• 2nd place: €900
• 3rd place: €600
• 4th place: €400
• 5th to 8th place: €200 each

Additionally, a €100 prize will be awarded to all players with 4 wins.

The organisers and players will follow the EGF General tournament rules.

Using go software and tools is forbidden during the games. Only go recording tools are allowed if both players explicitly agree.
